HRIS API Updates - September 6, 2026
Highlights
- ๐๏ธ Full Absence Management for HR4YOU & SD Worx: You can now sync absence types, employee time-off balances, and existing absences, as well as use actions to create and delete absences.
- ๐ฎ Workday Future-Dated Terminations: A new optional setting for Workday allows you to sync termination dates that are scheduled in the future. This helps you get ahead of upcoming employee offboardings and automate related workflows.
- ๐ Expanded Live Data in Custom Field Explorer: We've massively expanded support for on-demand data fetching ('model fetchers'), allowing you to instantly preview live data when building custom field mappings and formulas. Updated Integrations: CharlieHR, Dayforce, Deel, Factorial, Google Workspace, HaileyHR, Humaans, HRworks, Leapsome, Nmbrs, PayFit Partner, PeopleHR, Remote.com, SAP SuccessFactors, Sage HR, and Zelt.
- ๐ค Filter for Employees with "No Job Title": When configuring employee provisioning filters, you can now explicitly include employees who do not have a job title assigned. This is useful for syncing new hires or other specific employee groups that might be missing this information.
Other Updates
- ๐ Kallidus (Sapling): You can now use the new `create-employee-form` action to create pending hires.
- ๐ Lucca: A new optional setting allows you to expose work contract details as integration fields. This provides a way to access data like contract type for customers who do not have Lucca's paid Pagga module.
- ๐ Paylocity: You can now enable a new setting to include richer employee position data from the next-gen API during your syncs.
- Personio: Compensation data is now more reliably fetched and included in `remote_data` for employees, making it available for formulas and webhooks.
- ๐ข API Reference Update: The legacy `POST /hris/employees` endpoint has been removed from our API reference documentation. We recommend using the `create-employee-form` action instead. The endpoint will remain active to ensure backward compatibility.
